Chris Jackson LawBusiness CounselAbout Chris
Experienced counsel. Clear, practical guidance.
Chris Jackson has advised entrepreneurs and privately held companies for more than 30 years, combining legal experience with an understanding of the practical decisions owners face when forming, structuring, acquiring, and operating a business.

Business experience informs the legal advice.
Chris’s practice focuses on LLC and entity structuring, customized operating agreements, holding-company structures, business acquisitions, selected contracts, and outside-general-counsel matters.
His advice is informed not only by more than 30 years of legal experience, but also by his own experience as a business owner, former chief operating officer, and real estate investor.
A graduate of Cornell University and Loyola Law School, Chris is licensed to practice law in California. His approach is to identify the important legal and practical issues, explain the available choices clearly, and avoid unnecessary complexity.
Chris also created The LLC Guide and its YouTube channel to help business owners understand formation and the decisions that follow. The educational platform and law practice serve different roles: The LLC Guide provides general information; Chris Jackson Law provides individualized legal advice through an attorney-client engagement.
